Royal Society of Chemistry Historic Landmark Award

1st November 2005

A National Historic Chemical Landmark Award was made, Nov. 2005, to Hull University for the role in the development of liquid crystals undertaken initially by Professor George Gray FRS, and continued with distinction by Professor Goodby (now York University). The Award was presented by Professor Jim Feast FRS, President (Elect) of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
