1st October 2007

The Liquid Crystals on the Move Exhibition took place in the Main Hall of the NRM in York during the month of September 2007. The exhibition described the development of liquid crystals in the UK, and the inventions in materials and devices which underpin today’s flat screen displays. In particular, the exhibition focused on contributions by George Gray FRS and Peter Raynes FRS, both of whom have strong connections with Yorkshire.
