The annual British Liquid Crystal Society Conference was held at Hewlett Packard in Bristol (6th-8th April 2009). Thirteen members of the liquid crystal group attended the meeting contributing 3 oral presentations and 5 poster presentations. Dr Abdelhak Belaissaoui was awarded with the prize for the best poster presentation for his poster entitled “Synthesis of Chiral Liquid-Crystalline Dendrimers Manifestation of the Chirality on Mesomorphic Properties.”
